Hi, I’m Kelly Anne, the creator of KA's Cupcakes blog! My love for baking started when I was little and I would help my mom and grandma bake for special occasions and birthdays. My baking journey began when I was 11 and I entered my “Grandma’s Homemade Key Lime Pie" recipe into my local Girl Scout Bake-Off Competition. I won 1st place.

I have been baking ever since. 

 

When I went to college I had to put down the spatula and hit the books. While I was in college, I would stress bake and bake for my friend’s birthdays. I would bake anything from cookies to cupcakes, to brownies. When my senior year came to a screeching halt, due to COVID-19, I found time to get back into baking and cooking and making the kitchen messy again.
