Classic Vanilla Cupcakes

You can never go wrong with a classic cupcake! Here is how to make a decadent and moist vanilla cupcake that will have everyone wanting more.




Makes 12 cupcakes


Ingredients:

Cupcake base

  • 1 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour

  • 3 eggs, room temperature

  • 1 cup of white sugar

  • 1 tsp of baking powder

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup 2% milk

  • vanilla bean paste (optional)

Frosting

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature

  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 3 cups confectionary sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat your own till 350 degrees Farehite, and line 12 cup muffin tin with 12 cupcake liners.

  2. Sift your dry ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together

  3. In a medium-size bowl, beat your butter, milk, and vanilla extract & vanilla bean paste. Slowly beat in your dry ingredients

  4. After the batter is completed and well incorporated, scoop them into the muffin tins and bake for 12-15 minutes

  5. Once the cakes test is done, remove them from the pan and let them cool on a wire rack.

Frosting

  1. In a small bowl, combine your butter, vanilla extract & confectionary sugar

  2. After the frosting is whipped and comes to a peak, let it sit for 5 minutes

  3. Once your cupcakes are cool, get your favorite piping tip and put your vanilla frosting in a piping bag, or your favorite method and decorate away!
