Easy Italian-style dinner with delicious homemade tomato sauce!
Ingredients:
1 box of pasta
8 slices of rolled & cut Prosciutto ( if you don't eat meat, you can use your favorite vegan option or turkey sausage!)
2 diced cloves of garlic
2 diced small white onions
12 Cherry tomatoes
1/4 diced shallot
1 can (12oz) of diced tomatoes with garlic & basil
1 can (8oz)Tomato paste with garlic & basil
Dried parsley or fresh parsley
1/2 cup of red wine
Directions:
Boil water & salt pasta water, once brought to a boil, add pasta. (Boil pasta for 8-10 minutes) then simmer or take off the heat.
In a large saucepan, brown prosciutto. Once browned remove from pan.
Next, sauté cherry tomatoes, onion, shallots, and garlic.
Then add crushed tomatoes & tomato paste.
Once incorporated, add red wine stir & simmer.
After the pasta is drained, combine the sauce and pasta.
Serve and enjoy!
