How to turn them into Reindeer:
Once cookies are cooled, turn the cookie upside down, to have the head facing down.
Frost each antler on the legs
The hands are ears, if you would like to make "c"'s to create details for the ears you can, but that is optional.
To frost, the reindeer's face, take your colored icing of choice, pipe dots on the top and take the black or red frosting, and make a horizontal oval. then make 2 "J"s connecting each other to create its mouth!

These cookies are one of my dad's favorite cookies around the holiday time! These cookies originated from Austria and were originally made in the 1700s. For this cookie recipe, with jam in the middle, you will need...
Ingredients:
Sugar Cookie Mix
1/3 cup of slivered almonds, toasted finely chopped
1/3 cup of butter, melted
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 egg
2/3 cup Seedless Raspberry jam
Powdered Sugar
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 375.
Stir together cookie mix and almonds in a large bowl. Stir in melted butter, almond extract, and egg until dough is stiff.
Sprinkle four on a surface and roll your dough out 1/4 thickness. Cut 2 inches round or fluted shaped cookie cutter.
Take an apple corer, and take out the center of half your cookies. (you are cutting out the center so the jam will poke through)
Once all the cookies are cut and the centers are cored, place them on your non-stick cookie sheets and bake them for 7-9 minutes or till golden brown. Let them cool on wire wracks.
After cookies are cooled, take the bottom cookie (the cookies with no hole in the middle) and place a teaspoon/ nickel-sized jam amount of seedless raspberry jam and place the cookie with the hole in it, on top.
Once all the cookies are assembled, plate and dust some powdered sugar over the top and they are ready to serve!
Spritz Cookies!
These are a fun take on a traditional sugar cookie! My mom and I make these every holiday season, and we have so much fun making them! This recipe yields about 7-8 dozen cookies!
Ingredients
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) of butter
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 Egg
2 tablespoon of milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon clear almond extract
Wilton Cookie Pro Ultra II or a Saken Deluxe II Cookie Press Kit.
Sanding Sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine, flour and baking soda in a medium-sized bowl and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter & sugar until light and fluffy.
Then, add egg, milk, vanilla, and almond extract.
After, gradually add the flour mixture and mix well.
Screw off bottom & spoon cookie dough into Pro Ultra II, or Saken Deluxe II Cookie Press canister about 1/2 to the top with the press still attached.
Once the dough is in the canister, take a cookie design and stick it to the bottom of the clear canister and then screw on the bottom lid.
Pump the press until some of the cookie dough is showing through the stencil.
On a non-stick cookie sheet take the cookie press and press it to the sheet and press the trigger for 2-3 clicks. Do this one each pan in a line alternating 3/2/3 depending on how large your cookie sheets are. Make sure you leave about a 2-inch gap between each cookie.
Before placing into oven add sanding sugar if you would like, and follow baking, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
