Spook-tacular Creations!

It's October which means its Halloween season! If you are staying in, or dressing up at home, or having a Halloween Party for the kids, here are some ghool treats that you can make!






MUMMY RICE CRISPY TREATS





WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- rice crispy treats

- chocolate chips

- piping bag with a number 3 tip, or a zip lock bag

- parchment paper

- m&ms or candy eyes


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take rice crispy treat out of packaging or out of the pan and put it on the parchment paper.

  2. Microwave candy melts in a glass bowl for 1 minute in 30-second increments. Stir in between increments.

  3. Stick the melted chocolate in the piping bag (I used the Wilton piping number 3 tip) or zip block bag (make sure you cut the tip of the bag to allow candy melt to come out of the bag)

  4. Drizzle the chocolate in a zig-zag motion onto the rice crispy treat

  5. Attach the m&m's or candy eyes to the rice crispy treat with a dot on the back of the candy to adhere to the rice crispy.

  6. Let the candy set for

  7. Peel the rice crispy treat off the parchment paper and plate!


WITCH HAT COOKIES





WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- Reese's Cup Thins

- Hershey Kisses

- a piping bag with a number 3 tip, or a zip lock bag

- parchment paper


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Take Reese's Cup out of their packaging.

  2. Microwave candy melts in a glass bowl for 1 minute in 30-second increments. Stir in between increments. *

  3. Stick the melted chocolate in the piping bag (I used the Wilton piping number 3 tip) or zip block bag (make sure you cut the tip of the bag to allow candy melt to come out of the bag).

  4. On a plate, place the Reese's Cup rough edges facing up on a plate, 1 inch apart.

  5. Pipe a dot of dark chocolate onto the bottom, of the Hershey kiss and stick it to the middle of the cookie.

  6. OPTIONAL: After, create a small square in the middle of the cookie on the seam to create a belt buckle on the hat!

* TIP 1: If the chocolate is too thick, add vegetable shortening and put into microwave again for 30 seconds.

TIP 2: When working with melting chocolate, work fast, or your melted chocolate will harden quickly.


FRANKENSTEIN RICE KRISPYS





WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- Rice Krispies

- Pretzel sticks

- Mini M&M's

- Black gel icing

- Red icing

- Piping bag or zip lock bag

- Parchment paper


INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Take rice crispy treat out of packaging or out of the pan and put it on the parchment paper.

  2. break pretel sticks for the dead bolts!

  3. Place them on parchment paper, and frost them with green frosting

  4. Next, stick the pretzel ends into the side (bottom 3rd) of the rice krispy

  5. After, take your red frosting in a piping bag or in the tube, and draw on the scars

  6. Then, with your black gel icing, place 2 dots in the center to create the eyes and the mouth

  7. Plate!




CASPER BANANA POPS




WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- Bananas

- Mini brown M&M's

- Chocolate melts

- Vanilla Frosting


INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Cut your bananas in to 3 equal peices

  2. Freeze your Bananas for 1 hour

  3. Take your candy melts and cut them in an "O" shape.

  4. Next, take out the bananas and assemble. With vanilla frosting put a little dot on the M&M's and shaved "O" candy melt on the banana

  5. Put them back in the fridge until it is time to take out.

  6. Plate and Enjoy!


SPIDER CUPCAKES





THINGS YOU WILL NEED:

- Frosted Cupcakes

- Black gel Icing


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. On a frosted cup, use your black gel icing, creating the letter V connected to each other.

  2. Make two rows of these v's so you have the spider web.
